| Paris, April 30, 1999 -- In the First Quarter of 1999, Renault Revenues
Rose by Nearly 6% to FRF 62 Billion (9.5 Billion Euro /$10 Billion /1,208 Billion Yen ) Consolidated
Renault revenues totaled FRF 61,990 million (9,450 million Euro/$10,151 million/1,208
billion Yen) in the first quarter of 1999, an increase of 5.7% over the first quarter of
1998, and 5.9% calculated on a consistent basis.
Revenues of the Automobile Division were FRF 49,377 million (7,527 million Euro/$8,086
million/962 billion Yen) in the first quarter of 1999. That figure was 6% more than in the
same period of 1998 (and 6.3% on a consistent basis). The Automobile Division accounted
for 79.6% of Group revenues.

| DAGENHAM, Essex, UK, 21 April, 1999 - Ford announced today that it had
signed a new agreement with employee representatives at the Dagenham Body & Assembly
Plant which contains some important new initiatives to help secure a competitive future
for the site. The agreement includes an increase in the total installed capacity at
Dagenham to 300,000 units per year (up from the current 272,000), plus confirmation that
Dagenham will be the sole Western European source for a second model line, with a capacity
of 150,000 units per year. Both changes are subject to the achievement of agreed

Auburn Hills/Stuttgart, Wednesday, April 28, 1999-- For January to March 1999,
operating profit at DaimlerChrysler increased to Euro 2.8 billion up 16 % compared with
the same period last year. The company reports that worldwide revenues were up 10 %
compared with the first quarter 1998 to Euro 35.0 billion. All business divisions
contributed to the increase in revenues and profits. On the basis of the first quarter of
1999, DaimlerChrysler expects further growth and improved profits for the full year.
Adjusted for one-time effects, the operating profit amounted to Euro 2.5 billion, also
a growth of 16 %. Net income increased by 23 % to Euro 1.6 billion, calculated on a
comparable basis. This net income figure is adjusted for one-time effects like the impact
of the 1999 tax reform in Germany and the gain from the initial public offering (IPO) of
debitel. Accordingly adjusted earnings per share were Euro 1.64, up from Euro 1.43 in the
first quarter of 1998. Return on Net Assets (RONA) is reported on a yearly, rather than a
