New Cadillac CTS is Coming to China in Second Quarter 2014

DETROIT – Shanghai GM announced that it will begin offering the new Cadillac CTS in China in the second quarter of this year. The imported rear-wheel-drive luxury car represents the pinnacle of Cadillac’s aesthetic design and powerful performance.

The CTS has been well received since the launch of the first generation in China in 2004. The new third-generation model carries on the forward-thinking design and refined engineering of its predecessors, echoing the brand's "Art and Science" philosophy. At the same time, it takes the brand’s highly acclaimed "Diamond Cut" design language to a higher level.

The stunning exterior and interior design gives the new CTS a more artistic appeal. The model delivers a track-like driving experience thanks to its cutting-edge lightweight technology, near-perfect 50/50 weight distribution and high-performance sports chassis, which is paired with a Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) suspension, Brembo high-performance brakes and high-performance sport tires.

The new CTS also comes with an array of advanced features for an exclusive technological experience. They include the Cadillac User Experience (CUE) infotainment system, 20-way adjustable seats, Bose Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and Automatic Parking Assist (APA).

The new CTS has been recognized around the world by consumers and media since its launch in North America last year. It was named the 2014 Motor Trend Car of the Year, one of Car and Driver magazine's 10 Best Cars of 2014 and the Best Luxury Sedan in the Motor Week Driver's Choice Awards.
