Gary Henson, Richard Schaum appointed to Key DaimlerChrysler
Manufacturing Positions
Auburn Hills, Mich.
- DaimlerChrysler announced the appointment of Gary L. Henson
to the position of Senior Vice President - Manufacturing, effective
January 1, 1999. Henson will be responsible for all assembly,
stamping and component manufacturing for all Jeep, Chrysler,
Dodge and Plymouth branded products worldwide.

Henson replaces Dennis
K. Pawley, who announced his retirement from DaimlerChrysler as Executive
Vice President - Manufacturing and Labor Relations earlier this month.
Henson had been Senior Vice President - Large and Small Car, Jeep and
Truck Assembly and Stamping Operations.
It was also announced that
Richard O. Schaum has been appointed Senior Vice President -
Quality and Power Train Operations, for all Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge and
Plymouth products worldwide. Schaum had been Vice President - Quality
and Serviceability and General Manager - Power Train Operations. Both
Henson and Schaum will report to DaimlerChrysler Corporation President
Thomas T. Stallkamp.
In addition,
Thomas Gallagher, Senior Vice President - Employee Relations,
is reassigned to report to Stallkamp.
Reporting to Henson will
be Frank Ewasyshyn, Senior Vice President – Advance Manufacturing
Engineering and Shamel T. Rushwin, Senior Vice President - International
Manufacturing and Minivan Assembly Operations. Responsibilities for
Ewasyshyn and Rushwin remain unchanged.
In addition, the following
people also report to Mr. Henson:
Richard A. Chow-Wah
has been appointed Vice President and General Manager - Component
Operations. Chow-Wah had been Plant Manager - Huntsville Electronics,
and replaces William F. Smith, who recently announced his retirement
from DaimlerChrysler as General Manager - Component Operations.
P. Craig Corrington
has been appointed Vice President and General Manager - Stamping
Operations. Corrington had been Plant Manager - Sterling Stamping
in Sterling Heights, Mich.. Replacing Corrington as Plant Manager
- Sterling Stamping is John H. Rosseau. Rosseau had been
Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Sterling Stamping.
Richard S. Entenmann
has been appointed Vice President and General Manager - Large and
Small Car Assembly Operations. Entenmann had been Executive Director
- Post Merger Integration for manufacturing. Previously, he was
Plant Manager - Sterling Heights Assembly in Sterling Heights, Mich.
Roger D. Ruggiero
has been appointed Vice President and General Manager - Jeep and
Truck Assembly Operations. Ruggiero had been Plant Manager - Jefferson
North Assembly Plant in Detroit. Replacing Ruggiero as Plant Manager
- Jefferson North Assembly is Fred Martino-Dicicco. Dicicco
had been Manager, Assembly - Jefferson North Assembly Plant.
