At the end of 1998 DaimlerChrysler introduced its integration management, which should at least be in place for 24 months. The board of management is devided into

The integration was prepared by  29 Issue Resolving Teams, later on 69 working groups were brought together. A coordination team was introduced and headed by managers from each side at Daimler-Benz (Rüdiger Grube) and Chrysler (Barry Price).

  • non-automotive areas and corporate functions

  • Product Creation (Hubbert/Gale)

  • Purchasing (Petri/Valade)

  • Marketing & Sales (Zetsche/Holden)

  • Production Planning (Hubbert/ Henson)

  • Global Strategy-Integration (Hubbert/Stallkamp/Lauk/Cordes)

The non-automotive and corporate functions teams are

  • Corporate Development (Cordes/Stallkamp)

  • Technology & Research (Vöhringer/Robertson)

  • Information Technology (Cordes/Unger)

  • Finance & Controlling (Gentz/Valade)
