Daimler-Chrysler published the unification report (Verschmelzungsbericht). Profit estimates will show DM 20 Billion ($ 12 Billioin) in 2000. The 1998 estimate is at DM 16 Billiion ($ 9 Billion). Total cost of the unification will be DM 710 Mill. ($ 450 Mill.). Synergies will add up to DM 2.5 Billion ($ 1.4 Billion) in 1999 and DM 6.4 Billion ($ 3.8 Billion) in 2001.
