After the considerable public attention of the exterior studies of the past years EDAG Engineering + Design AG presents with the show car genX a trend setting vehicle concept that reflects the changing customs and habits in regard to lifestyles, career and recreational activities of this new century. Independence, speed and the desire for individuality shapes more and more the modern life. The genX is created for those people for who the boundaries between work and recreation have merged.

The genX is designed as an individual two-seater sports car of the next generation. Besides its sportive attributes the two-seater also comes with an adequate sleeping berth. By means of an electrical lifting roof the interior of the genX can be accordingly enlarged. The modular, external carriage boxes that are attached in the slender waistline of the genX are available for the individual use. The boxes can be released and easily carried along as suitcases.
