Innovations
like its new Intelligent Protection System of dual-stage front air
bags, similar to those fitted to the all-new Ford Mondeo, extend
Fiesta’s reputation for safety, dependability and value even
further.
Together with the Pininfarina design studio Ford
is experimenting with a two-door vehicle.
The Ford Focus FCV showcases Ford Motor Company's continuing effort toward
production of full performance fuel cell vehicles with zero-emissions capability.
Ford will have a fleet of fuel cell vehicles ready for customer test drives by 2004.

According to Callum, "the R-Coupe demonstrates that you can
maintain traditional Jaguar design values - proportions, stance and graphic
cues - and create an advanced car around them.

Land Rover

|
Body changes include a new pressed steel rear-end
door for station wagon and hard top variants, central door locking
and electric front windows. The facia is updated with a new centre
console housing new in-car entertainment systems and revised
switches. Chassis improvements include improved brakes.
The Land Rover Discovery receives a package of
changes for 2002. Automatic transmission versions of the 2.5 litre,
Td5 diesel engine have been re-tuned to give a 10% increase in
torque for improved driving behaviour while the interior has been
upgraded with new premium Harmon Kardon in-car entertainment systems
and a factory-fitted satellite navigation system. The exterior is
enhanced by new alloy wheel options. personalisation
programme.
The Range Rover model range is expanded by limited
editions such as 'Westminster' that combine features derived from
the 'Autobiography'
Exterior styling is refreshed by a change to black
bumpers and black exterior detailing. For the first time on
Freelander, black interior trim is also now available. New cup
holders, new in-car entertainment systems and a factory-fitted
satellite navigation system are all offered.
