The new model features an innovative glass roof panal which opens and closes almost silently by means of two electric motors. The roof opening surface area covers up to 0.45 m², which is almost twice that of the 911 Coupé's sliding roof. The second highlight of the Targa is a folding rear window which facilitates the easier loading of luggage in the rear luggage rack. When the rear seat backrests are folded down the luggage capacity increases to 230 litres.
