The Ferrari F430 signals a brand new generation of Ferrari 8 cylinder models. The new model takes Ferraris achievements in aluminum technology, which began with the 360 Modena, to new levels, and is packed with innovations directly derived from the Ferrari Formula 1 single seater.

Two of theses innovations are world first in production cars: the electronic differential (E-Diff) and the steering wheel mounted switch, better known to Formula 1 Scuderia’s drivers as “Manettino”, which manages the integrated systems governing vehicle dynamics.

Another main characteristics is the light and compact 4,3 l V8 cylinder engine, which delivers 114 hp/l also providing the Ferrari Berlinetta with a weight-to-power ratio of 2,8 kg/hp (dry weight). The breaking system is configured with carbon-ceramic discs for efficient operation under extreme use (optional). A Formula 1 derivated gearbox, which cuts gear shifting down to 150 milliseconds allowing the driver to maximize the efficiency of this powerful car. Acceleration from 0-62 mph takes just 4 seconds and top speed is in excess of 195 mph.
