Professor Jürgen Hubbert, member of the DaimlerChrysler Board of Management with responsibility for the Mercedes-Benz Passenger Car and smart Division: "The new Mercedes-Benz Museum will not house an exhibition in the conventional sense but will become our Heritage Center where we will actively communicate the tradition and origins of the Mercedes-Benz brand. The selected designs reflect very different ways in which this aim can be reached impressively."

The Board of Management will make a decision on the construction of a new museum on the basis of the competition results now available.

The designs presented in the architectural competition will be displayed in the Mercedes-Benz Museum from March 21 until April 21.
