Jeep Treo Concept

Chrysler Group designers took a look into the future and created a concept vehicle that explores the limits of the Jeep® brand, combining innovative design and environmentally friendly advanced technology in an activity vehicle aimed at young consumers.

Inside, the Jeep Treo provides space for three passengers or ‘two-plus-gear’ in a cabin that creates  an open feel in what is a truly compact vehicle.
.

.

Underneath, Treo is based on an all-new platform designed to utilize drive-by-wire technology and a zero-emission fuel cell – or other advanced powerplant of the future – along with an electric drive powertrain that gives Treo full-time four-wheel drive capability.

Mercedes F500

At the 37th Tokyo Motor Show Mercedes-Benz is presenting its new F 500 research vehicle.  Packaged as a modern four-door fastback saloon, the F 500 Mind mobile research lab showcases more than a dozen ideas for enhancing safety, drive technology and comfort. The raft of innovations extends all the way from the night vision system with infrared laser headlamps to two-way doors and a programmable multivision display in the cockpit. Electronic accelerator and brake pedals, an interior pillar which provides structural rigidity and an ultrasound driver information system are further features being tested by Mercedes-Benz in the F 500 Mind.
.

.

The DaimlerChrysler researchers will be using this pioneering vehicle to conduct the first practical tests of these innovative systems and pave the way for their commercialization.

Chrysler 300C Touring

The new Chrysler 300C Touring concept is the wagon version of the Chrysler 300C sedan concept, which was revealed earlier this year at the New York International Auto Show.

The Touring concept expands the Chrysler 300C model range and shares most of the design, powertrain, chassis, equipment, interior appointments and technical specifications of the sedan concept. Adding all-wheel drive, a high level of versatility and roomy comfort for driver and passengers the new Touring will enable the Chrysler brand to compete in the European E segment where around 40 per cent of sales are wagon derivatives.
.

.

A production version of the Chrysler 300C Touring concept will be available exclusively outside of North America late next year, further solidifying the Chrysler brand’s premium position in the market.
