Ingolstadt  - Germany Innovation and advanced technology form the basis for the new Audi website. The brand can now be experienced at an international level at www.audi.com as well as at national sites such as www.audi.de, on approximately 1,500 new pages.

As well as the reworked page design, users will find a large number of modern functions and a new navigation concept. The interior and exterior details of all vehicle models can now be closely examined in 360-degree views, for example. The Audi Glossary, another new feature, now explains the technical details and terms from the world of the automobile with the help of animations, for example.

"Audi sees the optimisation of its complete website as a further significant step towards even stronger customer orientation. Our website is based on the latest findings on online information services and provides our users with the maximum depth of information and user friendliness," says Michael Schönberger, Head of New Media at AUDI AG. "For example, all visitors to our site can quickly find their way around with the help of the new and easy-to-use navigation system. These innovative functions will enable us to further improve our already positive online image in future."

One new feature of all web pages is the "Country Locator". Users can go from here straight to the national site of their choice. Alongside the core area of "New Cars", numerous additional services can be found by selecting the "Company". "Experience", "Merchandise", "Car Accessories" or "Used Cars" menu options. For instance, users can call up used cars from a database covering the whole of Europe and containing around 55,000 cars, in 18 languages. They have the chance to find out how much their own car is worth, can use a search function or download a sample purchase agreement. On the German page, and some other national pages, users can create the car of their dreams using the Audi Configurator. They can then select a suitable finance package, and send the enquiry directly to any Audi dealer. In the new-car database they can select from some 3,000 new cars with immediate availability.

Under "Customer Service", users will find information about the large number of services Audi offers. These include new car collection and our airport service, which enables air travellers to hand over their Audi at the airport and have it serviced while they are away. There are also tips on energy-efficient driving, correct care and operation of vehicles, as well as hotlines to the Audi emergency service and Audi Service.

Users who click on the "Company" menu option will gain an insight into the history, philosophy and subsidiaries of AUDI AG and can download its Annual Report. Up-to-the-minute press releases can also be found here, along with facts about the company's plants. Those embarking on a career and those already established in their profession will find all the information they need about career possibilities at Audi in a separate section.

Just a few clicks on, and the section "Experience" lists all the sporting and cultural events supported by Audi, explains the Audi driver and safety training programme, the "Audi Driving Experience", and offers special Audi travel opportunities, such as the "TT weekend".

The relaunch has been carried out in cooperation with the Hamburg agencies, "razorfish" and "Divine".
