FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif. -
Hyundai Motor America today announced that vehicle sales in the U.S. have
set an all-time record for the company. The previous record was 375,119,
which was established last year. "Exceeding last year's record is a
significant milestone on the way to meeting our goal of 400,000 sales in
the U.S. in calendar year 2003," said Hyundai's Vice President,
National Sales, Edward F. Bradley.
Year-to-date sales of Hyundai
vehicles in the U.S. are up 4.5 percent. "Breaking the sales record
in this intensely competitive market shows the growing strength of the
Hyundai brand value with consumers and the dedication of our hard-working
dealers," Bradley said.
