Cadillac Launches Escalade Platinum Edition in Europe

Zurich – Cadillac starts selling the Escalade Platinum Edition in Europe as of immediately with model year 2011. This new and exclusive addition to the European Escalade product line offers the next step in luxuriously appointed Cadillac interiors with cut, sewn and wrapped leather and soft and inviting naturally finished Tehama aniline leather seats.

The Escalade Platinum includes nearly every option of the regular Escalade and offers many unique additional features made available only on this special Escalade. The only option to choose is the exterior color. The highlights of the Platinum Edition include a separate rear seat entertainment system with DVD player, power assist step and unique 22” multi-spoke chrome wheels.

Inside the vehicle, cut-and-sew leather wrapped instrument panel and center console are complemented by genuine olive ash and burled walnut woods with wood inlays and aluminum trimmed instrument panel and console. Heated and cooled front cup holders are included as well as a modified instrument panel – all set in a unique interior color combination of cocoa/light linen.

Like all Cadillac models the base equipment includes hard drive-based navigation, keyless entry, electrically adjustable leather seats with memory function and xenon adaptive forward lighting.
