Appointments to Renault Management Committee
Following the
appointments to the Renault Group Executive Committee (CEG) announced on
December 15, Louis Schweitzer, Renault Chairman and C.E.O. decided on the
following appointments to the Renault Management Committee (CDR):

Marie-Christine Caubet,
a member of the Renault Management Committee (CDR), is appointed Senior
Vice President, Market Area Europe. She reports to Patrick Blain,
Executive Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Marie-Christine Caubet was
previously Senior Vice President, Market Area France.

Jacques Chauvet, a
member of the Renault Management Committee (CDR), is appointed Senior Vice
President, Market Area France. He also reports to Patrick Blain, Executive
Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Jacques Chauvet was previously Senior
Vice President, Parts and Accessories.

Philippe Klein is appointed Senior
Vice President, assigned to the Chairman's Office, and joins the Renault
Management Committee. He reports directly to the Chairman and C.E.O.
Philippe Klein was previously Vice President, Industrial System
Performance.

Yann Vincent is appointed Senior Vice President, Quality, and
joins the Renault Management Committee. He reports to Jean-Louis Ricaud,
Executive Vice President, Quality and Engineering (Vehicle and Powertrain).
Yann Vincent was previously Vice President, C Programme.

Odile Desforges,
Senior Vice President, Purchasing, and member of the Renault Management
Committee, previously reported to Pierre-Alain De Smedt. She now reports
directly to the Chairman and C.E.O. Likewise for Patrick Bessy, Senior
Vice President, Corporate Communications, and member of the Renault
Management Committee, who previously reported to Patrick Faure.
These appointments are
effective on January 1, 2005, except for the appointment of Philippe
Klein, effective on March 1, 2005. *
Finally, Tsutomu Sawada (67
years old), Senior Vice President, Advisor to the Chairman, and member of
the Renault Management, has decided to retire and will
leave the company on December 31, 2004.
