The X-Terra is that successful because it precisely meets the outdoor enthusiasts' needs for an authentic and versatile, yet affordable 4x4. Limited.

"Nissan's European share in the 4x4 market was 8.5% in 1999. This comes from a long tradition of excellence and innovation in 4x4. Today, in the USA, X-Terra is a hot product reaching 85000 sales in a year. It has been chosen "truck of the year" by 47 leading independent auto journalist in the United States and Canada.

"The new Nissan X-TRAIL concept car is an excellent showcase for Nissanís advanced 4x4 technology which will raise the standard among compact 4x4s," said Mr. Tetsuo Shimizu Chief Product Specialist and project leader of X-TRAIL development.
