Porsche : Production & Sales Figures

In the 2004/05 fiscal year, Porsche group sales increased by 15 percent to a total of 88,379 vehicles (previous year: 76,827 vehicles). This increase is due primarily to the extremely successful market launch of the new 911 and Boxster model generations. 27,826 cars in the 911 model line were sold, an increase of 17.4 percent compared with the previous year (23,704 cars).

Total sales of the Boxster model line were 18.009 units, an increase of 38.7 percent (previous year: 12,988 cars). Sales of the Cayenne, which has now been on the market for three years, rose again. 41,884 units of this sport utility vehicle were sold, a sales increase of 4.9 percent over the previous year’s figure of 39,913 units. Sales of the high-performance Carrera GT sports car went up strongly, with 660 units sold compared with 222 in the previous year.

Production totaled 90,954 vehicles, and thus went up by 11.6 percent over the previous year (81,531 units). A total of 28,619 units in the 911 model line were built, an increase of 7.4 percent.

The corresponding figure for the previous year was 26,650 units. Output of the Boxster model line rose to 20,321 units, compared with 13,462 units the year before (51 percent more). Of this figure, 15,892 cars were built in Finland (previous year: 8,862). A total of 41,299 Cayennes and 715 Carrera GT high-performance sports cars were built at the Leipzig plant.

Porsche continues along the road to success 2001/2002

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG maintained its growth course in the 2001/02 fiscal year, which ended on July 31, largely uninfluenced by the weaknesses which the international economy tended to exhibit. It proved possible to increase Group turnover by 9.4 percent to 4.86 billion Euro. The pre-tax result reached a new historic peak, rising by 40 percent to 828.9 million Euro. The Group's surplus for the year (result after tax) increased by 70.8 percent to 462.0 million Euro.

Porsche Boosts Profit by 40 Per Cent 2001/2002

Stuttgart. The pre-tax result of the Porsche Group is therefore up significantly to 828.9 million Euro following 592.4 million Euro in the previous year, the Company also benefitting from its currency hedging strategy pursued successfully for a number of years. The annual surplus (result after taxes) is up within the Group to 462 million Euro following 270.5 million Euro in the previous year.

New record year for Porsche in 2001/2002

Stuttgart. Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG of Stuttgart continued its successful progress in the 2001/02 fiscal year that ended on July 31, 2002 largely unaffected by the overall weakness of the economy and in particular the trade recession in the USA. Production and sales almost reached the previous year's level, while turnover and profit increased due to the improved product mix.

Massive increase in Porsche profits - Higher dividend for shareholders 1999/2000

Stuttgart - Porsche AG Stuttgart earned a considerably higher pre-tax profit in the 1999/2000 business year despite increased development costs for its forthcoming third model line. Today's meeting of the Supervisory Board confirmed the Group's pre-tax result as 848.5 million German Marks (DM), 21.5 percent more than last year (698.2 million DM). The Group's surplus for the year (result after tax) went up to 410.7 million DM compared with 373.3 million DM last year.
