Chrysler Airflite Concept

 |
The Chrysler
Airflite, the newest design statement from DaimlerChrysler, blends the
passion of Chrysler design, the styling of a coupe and the practicality
and function of a sedan to create a unique interpretation of the
five-door hatchback.
The long,
clean aerodynamic lines of Airflite's striking profile combine with the
spacious, creative but practical interior to produce a car that is as
much museum-quality sculpture as it is personal transportation. It
brings form and function together in a stylish, sporty vehicle designed
to appeal to the mainstream market segment.

Chrysler Crossfire

 |
With its
long hood and fast back, Chrysler Crossfire's side profile is instantly
recognizable. The car's broad shoulders envelop 19-inch rear wheels.
Front wheels are slightly smaller, yet still measure an impressive 18
inches. With larger wheels in back, the side profile has a poised
stance.
The name
"Crossfire" was conceived during the development of the vehicle's
distinctive character line which moves precisely and rapidly from front
to rear. The character line "crosses" to a negative formation from a
positive formation as it travels quickly from the front through the rear
fender. Rear fenders are muscular and wide and conclude in the large,
sculpted tail lamps. The side profile is complete with metallic-finished
side air louvers.
One of
Chrysler Crossfire's most distinguishing features is its center spine
that runs the length of the car and gives a chiseled, carved appearance.
The line starts at the front grille and concludes between the dual
exhaust pipes. This center spine form also appears on door handles and
exterior mirrors. |
Daewoo Scope

|
As the
possible automotive answer to the lifestyle of the future, Daewoo will
be launching its crossover vehicle "Scope" in Geneva. It combines the
dynamics and maneuverability of a sports car with the robustness of an
all-terrain vehicle. The aerodynamic, wedge-shaped body with a total
length of 4,474 millimeters (wheelbase: 2,650 mm) points to the sporty
character of the new vehicle while the vertical radiator grille
emphasizes its off-road suitability. The width of 1,897 and the height
of 1,710 millimeters mark its compact design.
It is not
only the numerous seat configurations that highlight the interior's
flexibility. If more space is required, the armrests can be folded up to
get them out of the way. In addition, Scope has only one remote control
for the doors as well as the stereo system, which can be quite
practical, for example during a picnic. Even the engine can be started
using the same wireless control unit. The Scope is powered by a compact,
six-cylinder, transverse engine from GM Daewoo's XK product line. The
all-aluminum DOHC (dual, overhead camshaft) engine has a capacity of
2,492 cm3 and an output of 115 kW/157 hp at 5,800 rpm; the maximum
torque of 245 Nm is available at 4,000 rpm. |
Daewoo Nubira

|
The new
Daewoo Nubira is one of the most spacious vehicles in its class. It has
grown significantly in comparison to its predecessor and offers more
space, especially in the rear, than practically every competitor.
The
foundation for the new Nubira's comprehensive safety system is the use
of more high-strength steels. In addition, two front and two side
airbags, three-point seatbelts all round as well as Isofix child seat
anchorages on the outer rear seats guarantee the best possible passenger
protection. |
Ferrari
 |
The 'Challenge Stradale'
will officially be presented. The new Ferrari, which will flank the 360
Modena and 360 Spider and which symbolises the close links between
competition and the world of Granturismo, will transfer the experience
of the international Ferrari Challenge Pirelli Trophy Championships, and
Granturismo races, to the street. On the Prancing Horse stand will be
the 'Enzo Ferrari', the 360 Spider, the 575M Maranello, the 456M GTA and
the F2001. |
