Alongside the elegant, all-new Astra Cabrio with its standard, automatic soft top, the Opel Zafira continues to increase its renowned versatility in a number of new guises: With its 220-km/h, 2.0-liter turbo, the Zafira OPC will be Europe's fastest van when it goes on sale at the end of this year. The second Zafira on the Opel stand features another premiere, a DVD player with infra-red headphones for road-movie fans. 

Motorsport enthusiasts will be attracted to the stunning red Astra Coupé OPC X-Treme, a spectacular, 444-hp concept car. The stand in hall 2 presents the most innovative Zafira - the environmentally friendly Zafira 1.6 CNG (compressed natural gas) which will be on show alongside Opel's four-liter family car, the Astra Eco 4. 

The sportier attractions include a design study of a new Corsa rally car , the new Corsa GSi and the much acclaimed Speedster . A special edition of the Astra Coupé features blue alcantara seats and matching seat belts as well as a sports steering wheel and an aluminum-look gear knob. Topping the Opel range in Geneva is the Omega 3.2, powered by a 3.2-liter ECOTEC V6 engine with 160 kW / 218 hp.

Cadillac's 2001 concept car, the Vizón, slices boldly into the gap between sport utility vehicles and sport/performance wagons with sharp-edged Cadillac style. The Cadillac Vizón provides the functionality of a utility vehicle with the aesthetics, comfort and performance of a world-class sedan or wagon.

The 2002 TrailBlazer is new from the ground up, featuring the all-new Vortec 4200 Inline six-cylinder engine. This new Vortec engine produces 270 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, offering power that rivals or surpasses the best of the competitive V8s while offering the fuel efficiency of a V6.

The dynamically styled, two-door convertible is the only contender in its class featuring a fully retracting soft top that opens and closes at the push of a button as standard equipment. The optional remote control makes it even easier to operate the soft top.
