But with more power, thanks to its 204 hp 2.8 V6 24V engine, and four wheel traction, the Seat León is a step ahead within the Cupra range. 150 hp 1.9 TDi, the most powerful Diesel engine The León and Toledo models will be equipped with Seat's most powerful Diesel engine, the 150 hp (110 kW) 1.9 TDi with fuel injector units. Thanks to this new engine, identifiable by its red TDi badge, the Toledo will offer a six speed gearbox for the first time. Furthermore, this engine will be available with total traction 4 in the future. Other powerful new versions The Seat Toledo is now equipped with a 170 hp (125 kW) 2.3 V5 20V engine, with 20 horse power more than the previous V5. Along with the León, this model also features the 105 hp (77 kW) 1.6 16V, which replaces the 100 hp (74 kW) 1.6. Besides the aforementioned 105 hp (77 kW) 1.6 16V, the León also features the 125 hp (92 kW) 1.8 20V with automatic gearbox, which replaces the 100 hp (74 kW) 1.6 automatic. The Ibiza and Córdoba ranges replace the 75 hp (55 kW) 1.6, which will no longer be produced, with the 1.4 16V of equal performance, an engine which has already been marketed in certain export markets. The new Alhambra now features total traction 4 in its petrol range equipped with the 204 hp (150 kW) 2.8 V6 24V engine, and the 115 hp (85 kW) Diesel. Photos: SEAT Barcelona, 05.09.2000
